It seems to me that Islam must reform itself, as both Judaism and Christianity have done, in order to move away from a culture that embraces the notion of infidels and hate. Islam needs true reformers to reinterpret Islam in a different light so that its adherents don't buy into the idea that violence is the answer to the world's problems and children can be killed intentionally to achieve Allah's will.
It seems to me that You don't have a clear understanding of ISLAMIC FAITH. It seems to me that your biased notion of mixing up ISlam as to waht you think it is, is easily defined by media on television, biased newspapers and biased people. You are lacking KNOWLEGDE"Ananymous" and you need to research a lot before saying such discusting comments about any faith, not just ISLAM in particular.

Try knowing a little about the subject you are talking abt before voiving your opinion, I think it is the least you can do.
Islam was brought to Christians and the Jews and it is meant for humanity as a whole to follow.
For example the holy books Torah and Zaboor and books before that were brought in time when there was a chaos in this world, where it was all abt the money, all aboutgetting drunk, all abt killing girls and burying them alive, all abt music and all about the stuff that makes life more like a bizzare dream.
Islam was for mankind and DOES NOT allow hating particular groups like Christians and Jews.
Islam embraces these faiths and tried its best to tell and inform the Christians and Jews about the reality.
For example changing Old Testament to New Testament is not something someone can do to the Holy Book of QURAN. Wheras,in Christianity this was done by the Christians themselves to meeet the new standards of time.
Muslims just dont goa dn change things they dont like to meet new standards of living. ISLAM is the only faith that is bound to the aspect of TAWHEED, there in so God but Allah and Prophet Muhammed is the last prophet send down to Muslim people.
It is not right for you to claim ISLAM prohibits killing of children.
ISlam PROHIBITS Killing of anyone w/o a decent cause. The aspect of Jihad means, struggling in the way of God, which can mean while MUSLIMS are being attacked by other groups Muslims have to remain on track by practicing ISLAM and follow what it allows and Prohibit or deny what is not allowed in ISLAM.
Islam is the way of life, not the way someone thinks a life is to be defined.
There is no such thing as reforming RELIGION of ISLAM. First, "Anonymous" you dont even know what ISLAM is and you dont even know the reality from the MYTHS of ISLAM, so how can you say such things.
U can reform Christianity or Judiaism because it is these religions that are oftwn caught with raping young boys in a church or having relationships with the minore or even harrqassing girls under age. It is these religions that allow and BLAME Eve not ISLAM.

Islam says NO to drugs, terrorism and having illegal relationships witht he opposite sex.

The word HATE does not exist in ISLAM, clean out your brain and if you are really interested in knowing the way ISLAM works, try coming to a MOSQUE, attend Lectures in the Muslim Student Association known as MSA of Queenns College, try going to ICNA, Islamic center of North America and try reading Quraan with someone who is aware of what is said and written in the Quran and even try getting to know the languauge of Arabic to read Quran for yourself.
You have no right to attack ISLAM without knowing what you think you are saying and what you think should be said, rather stay with the thought of what ISLAM is really abt? Try opening your eyes and ears towards understanding the true ISLAM, the only faith that is necessary for you to stay on right track in this world and hereafter.

Okay...I agree with a lot of what you said, and I'm sorry if I came off as a little too harsh. But what do you think Islam's response should be to the fact that so many Muslim terrorists are killing innocent people? Why aren't moderate Muslims getting up and protesting this terror? If Islam prohibits the killing of anyone "without a decent cause" then why are so many terrorists coming from Islam?
In my opinion no religion teaches hate. Islam, Judaism and Christianity donot teach hate.
First of all the media is painting pictures of Muslims as being bad guys. They make Islam look bad that Islam treats women poorly.

In 1492, in Spain the Christians expelled Muslims and Jews out of the country, the Muslims and Jews were either given a choice either convert or leave the country. Also, the Holocaust was also done by a Christian were Hilter killed 6,000 Jews.
The Ku klux clan they only like WASP. There are non Muslims leaving in Muslim countries.
Morroco there is still small Jewish population that exist.
Egypt there is a sizeable Coptic Christian population.
Lebanon and Syria has a sizeable Christian. In Iran altough small population but still there are Jews, Zororastrians and Aremian Christians living there.

It was wrong but marginalizing the terrorists as MUSLIMS is pronblematic.
One thing that should be understood by the common American Joe is that TERRORIST is a TERRORIST and does not have a religion because if he did then he wouldn't have done what he has been doing.
Having said that, whenever Christian and Jews theives, murderers, and those who rape childrena nd women are found and arrested they are not called ECTREMIST CHRISTIANS or FUNDAMENTALIST JEWS...So why is that done to MUSLIMS?

Reason for this is the JUSTICE that ISLAM offers and allows towards all people regardless of their skin color, race, class or gender.
The following statements in the Bible are further proof that some parts of the bible are corrupt and man made, because God is merciful and he would never order the killing of little children and defenseless women.

The answer is simple, its one of these possibilities:
1- The Qur'an and Sunnah are the only two mediums by which Allah has directly taught us about Islam, and they very clearly denounce terrorism regardless of the intentions behind a terror act. If any man or woman engages in a belief or action which clearly contradicts the Qur'an or Sunnah, then that belief or action cannot be thought of as `Islamic'. And in every religion there is sick people how misinterpret there religion and think that they have the divine right to kill people on behalf of god, Just like Gorge W. Bush who claims that god came to him and told him to kill all those people in Iraq. In Islam to prevent this from happening Muslims are ordered to obey there prince, i.e. there president, and not act on there own and make there own laws, and illegal groups.
2- There are enemies of Islam who are creating, funding, and training such fundamental groups, and then using them for there anti-Islam agenda. Just like the CIA infiltrating, and funding Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, and then using it for terror acts that Islam is blamed for, to further there anti-Islam propaganda.
3- The enemies of Islam are also directing there own terror acts and then using there media outlets to accuse Islam. Examples are all over the place, WTC 1 and 2, car bombings in Iraq by MI6 and CIA,
4- These terror acts take attention away from state sponsored terrorism by "Israel" in Palestine, and the USA in Iraq and Afghanistan, and show Muslims as a group of savage terrorists who wont to kill Jews and Christens. At the time when Jews were massacred by the Christian crusades, Muslims were protecting and helping them as history would testify. And at the time the Jews were discriminated against and killed in Europe in WW2, and the USA refused to take any Jewish refugees in New York (Proof in Holocaust museum in NY) Muslims embraced the Jewish refugees in the Arab world and treated them as brothers, and the number of Jews in the Arab world grew dramatically in and after WW2. The poor Palestinians paid for there kindliness and hospitality with there land and the lives of there children, and are now called terrorists. Also there is no mention in history that Muslims treated Jews or Christians deferent than they would treat each others in any Arab country, to date.

And if anyone gives life to another person, it is as if he had given life to all mankind. Our Messengers came to them with Clear Signs, but even after that, many of them committed outrages in the earth.
[Qur’an, 17:33] Nor take life - which Allah has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand retaliation or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life, for he is helped (by the Law)
